Founded by Ukrainians in Calgary, our bar is a place where everyone is welcome. Our mission began with bringing together the Ukrainian community, helping people find their crowd, and creating a space where they can truly feel at home. But above all, we believe in connections that go beyond borders, bringing together locals and newcomers alike.

In May 2023, we launched GULBA – a project that started with Ukrainian-themed events and quickly grew into something bigger. Since then, we’ve hosted over 65 events, and in the summer of 2024, we organized a major GULBASH festival in the mountains of British Columbia.
