Join us for a Saturday evening with Echo Band — a recently formed Calgary-based group bringing together professional musicians from Ukraine. 🎙️🎹

Though the project itself is new, its members bring years of professional stage experience. Their sound blends jazz, soul, pop, and modern groove, with familiar songs reimagined through fresh arrangements, improvisation, and live musical chemistry.

On keys, Aleksandr Yaretskyi is a professional virtuoso pianist with 18 years in music. Classically trained and recognized at international competitions, he later spent eight years in China, including five years performing with different bands and at major live events. Today, his sound is inspired by contemporary jazz artists such as Robert Glasper, Yussef Dayes, and Alfa Mist.

Together with professional vocalist Rita Kirieieva, bassist Alex Nedashkovskyi, and drummer Vitaliy Shpak, Echo Band brings a vibrant set of smooth grooves, soulful vocals, jazz-inspired arrangements, and recognizable favourites.
