Join us at GULBAR for a special Sunday evening of live jazz featuring Winnipeg-based saxophonist Nolan Gottfried and his trio.
An active voice in Winnipeg’s jazz scene, Nolan performs on alto and soprano saxophone and has appeared with a variety of jazz ensembles and projects, including Winnipeg jazz-fusion group Chickadee. His playing brings together expressive improvisation, modern jazz influences, and the energy of a new generation of Canadian jazz musicians.
For this Calgary performance, Nolan brings a trio to GULBAR for an intimate two-hour live set — the perfect soundtrack for a relaxed Sunday evening, a date night, or drinks with friends.
